Sunday Sunday

God was preparing us for parenting a little baby last night. Apparently the dogs got into something, not sure what, but at about 12:45 Crash woke me up vomiting. I turned on the light and there were three huge piles of vomit on the bedroom floor (fortunately hardwood). From then til about 4 we were up several times with both dogs vomiting and diahrea. It was sooooo gross! Thank God for my hubby with a stomach of iron. I have never seen him gag when he has had to clean up dog messes, my messes or Michael's messes but he was during this! Today the dogs were fine tho, so I am not sure what it was.

I tried grocery shopping with coupons this afternoon and all I have to say is, "Mom, how did you do it?" It was soooo much work! And took probably 2xs as long! But with the instore deals at Kroger plus coupons our $218 bill dropped to $130 so I guess it was worth it....maybe. There has to be an easier way tho!

Now I am ready for a new work week, sitting in bed eating Carmel flavored ice cream with little chunks of chocolate, a cut up banana, and an extra squirt of carmel. Wonder if Ill sleep tonight! :) Love ya!

  1. that's why I love hardwood floors!! Sammy threw up the other day, just once but it looked like a wipe and some plastic that she had eaten!!

  2. Yuck! There's a reason we don't have a dog anymore. They are wonderful, amazing animals, and I cry every time I think about how much they can help humans (who are disabled, or police dogs, or whatever). However, they are a lot of work and I'm not up for it!

  5. LOL! I don't put ANYTHING past Sammy!!! :)
Jessica, did you sleep well after that YUMMY sundae?
Also, the coupons, as you can see, were a MUST DO, not that I wanted to! Very cool savings, yes, dollar-wise, certainly not time-wise! PLUS, if you recall, I used to hit 3 or 4 stores to get the best deals! AND, we still did NOT eat like kings!
